This policy explains how Sourcery Procurement Platform Inc. (“Sourcery,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information on gosourcery.com and www.gosourcery.com, including website analytics and demo scheduling.

Our application has a separate Application Privacy Policy. Choosing website analytics does not give permission for tracking in the application or on another website.

1. Information we collect and why

Information you provide: your name, work contact information, company, and the contents of enquiries or booking requests. We use this to respond, arrange demos, and provide requested support or services.
Website operations: hosting and delivery services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested resources, and technical logs to deliver and secure the website and investigate faults. These operations are separate from optional Google Analytics.
Optional analytics: after permission, Google Analytics processes pseudonymous browser identifiers, device and visit information, and the website interactions described below to help us understand website use and measure interest in Sourcery.

The website contact form prepares a draft in your email application; it does not itself send the message to Sourcery. We receive the information if you send the email. Details entered into the demo scheduler are submitted to HubSpot when you use that service.

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on consent for optional website analytics. Depending on the context, responding to an enquiry or providing a requested service may be necessary to take steps toward a contract or perform it. Operating and protecting the website and handling business enquiries may rely on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law and your rights. Legal obligations may also require certain processing.

2. Cookies, local storage, and optional analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Accept analytics. Our website analytics adapter does not load the Google Analytics tag, send Google Analytics requests (including cookieless measurement requests), or set its cookies before permission. You can decline without losing access to the marketing website.

After consent, we measure visits to known marketing pages, audience navigation, pricing views, trial and demo links, selected video interactions, and booking-success signals from the embedded demo scheduler. A trial-link click is not confirmation of a new account.

Our analytics events do not forward names, email addresses, form messages, booking contact details, or ordinary URL query strings and fragments. Pseudonymous identifiers and browsing activity can still be personal information; analytics is not described as anonymous.

Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and visits. We also store your allow/decline choice in your browser’s local storage under sourcery.analytics-consent.v1. This preference is not an advertising identifier and can remain until you change it or clear browser storage. Cookie duration is separate from Google’s event-data retention and can depend on Google’s settings and subsequent visits.

Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our current website analytics configuration, and advertising consent remains denied. We do not use this adapter to run advertising remarketing.

After analytics consent, Google’s cross-domain linker may add a measurement parameter to links between gosourcery.com, www.gosourcery.com, and spec.gosourcery.com. This can connect the marketing and application journey when both sides are configured. It does not grant consent on the destination website.

You can change your choice through Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops this adapter’s future tracking and attempts to remove its first-party Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by Google. Choices are stored for the browser and origin where you make them, so you may need to change preferences separately on www, the root domain, the application, or another device.

You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Browser settings do not replace a privacy request concerning information already collected.

3. Scheduling, videos, and service providers

We use service providers for website hosting and media delivery, analytics, business communications, and demo scheduling. Providers receive information needed for their functions and may process technical information when your browser connects to them.

Google: provides optional website analytics after your consent. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.
HubSpot: clicking Book a Demo loads its scheduling service. It processes the details you provide and may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Booking does not require consent to our Google Analytics. Our analytics adapter receives a booking-success signal, not the booking’s contact details. See HubSpot’s privacy policy.
Videos and external links: some content uses or links to services such as Loom or Wistia. Loading an embedded service or visiting an external link can disclose your IP address and browser information to that provider, which may use its own cookies or storage. See Loom’s applicable privacy information and Wistia’s privacy policy.

Our Google Analytics preference controls our analytics adapter, not every third-party service. Third-party notices and any controls they provide should be reviewed separately. A click to open an embed is not blanket permission for unrelated tracking.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable protections.

4. How long we keep information

Google Analytics event-data and user-data retention are currently configured to 14 months. This does not describe cookie expiry or guarantee that aggregate reports are deleted after 14 months.

We retain enquiries, booking records, and operational information for as long as needed for their purpose, taking account of the business relationship, security needs, and applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Retention differs by record type and service provider. Contact us for information about a particular record or to request deletion where available.

5. Where information is processed

Sourcery is based in Canada and operates with a presence in the United States. Our providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries whose laws differ from those where you live.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the appropriate transfer mechanism and protections must apply. These may include an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, depending on the recipient and destination. Browsing this website is not consent to an otherwise unlawful transfer. Contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to your information.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive portable information, or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions.

Email info@gosourcery.com with your request and enough information to help us identify the relevant records. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents in an initial email. We may request proportionate verification. Authorized agents may contact us on your behalf, subject to applicable authorization and verification requirements. We will address requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Where applicable, you may complain to your local data-protection regulator, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant European supervisory authority.

California and other U.S. residents

Where state privacy law applies to Sourcery and your information, rights may include knowing the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information; access, correction, and deletion; and opting out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or certain targeted advertising or profiling. Applicable law may also provide an appeal process and protection against discrimination for exercising your rights.

Our current website Google Analytics configuration has advertising features disabled. Whether a disclosure legally constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” depends on the actual arrangements and applicable law, not only on whether money changes hands. Our Google Analytics preference is not represented as a universal sale/sharing opt-out for all Sourcery services.

The current website analytics adapter does not automatically interpret browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals; use its Allow/Decline controls to manage optional analytics. This does not remove any obligation to honor a legally applicable opt-out signal. Contact us with questions or requests relating to sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

7. Business and marketing communications

We use contact details to respond to your requests and, where permitted, send relevant business communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. Operational messages about requested services may still be necessary. Optional analytics consent is not consent to marketing emails.

8. Autodesk Revit add-in

The Sourcery Autodesk App currently transfers data using CSV files. It does not automatically collect or transmit Revit model data to Sourcery servers. Transfers occur when a user exports or imports a CSV file and manually moves it as part of their workflow.

The add-in does not share CSV data, Revit project data, or other Autodesk App data with third-party applications or services. It may store mapping configuration locally within the Revit project file so it can be reused. This local configuration is not accessible to Sourcery through the add-in. Users can clear it using the add-in’s command; this may reset the mapping workflow.

9. Security, children, and policy changes

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please do not include sensitive personal information in general enquiries. Sourcery is a business service and this website is not directed to children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek a new choice for material changes.
